Guided Setup and Plan Mode
Arif can help users plan and perform setup work through conversation. For larger tasks, Plan mode lets Arif inspect context and prepare a reviewable plan before execution.
Guided Setup
Users can ask Arif to help configure business basics such as company setup, finance structure, inventory preparation, document templates, or module-specific workflows. Arif gathers required details, checks available context, and explains what it needs before taking action.
Plan Mode
Plan mode is designed for work that should be reviewed before anything changes. In this mode, Arif can inspect permitted records, schemas, knowledge, and business context, then save a structured plan for review.
Plan mode is useful for:
- Setup or onboarding tasks with many steps.
- Bulk changes.
- Data cleanup.
- Process design.
- Sensitive operational changes.
- Work that needs approval from another person.
From Plan to Action
When a plan is applied, execution returns to the normal governed chat path. Any tool use still follows Qriib permissions, Arif safety policy, approvals, and rollback tracking.
Setup Tips
- Start with the business outcome, not the screen you think is needed.
- Include known constraints such as company, branch, currency, country, or fiscal period.
- Attach setup files when they contain source data.
- Ask Arif to plan first when multiple records or departments are involved.
