Availability and Access
Arif is available inside Qriib Business for signed-in users whose organization has enabled the assistant. Access is governed by the same account, role, and record permissions used across Qriib.
Where Arif Appears
- Arif workspace - A full chat workspace for longer tasks, session history, approvals, rollback, and exported transcripts.
- Page companion - A contextual assistant that can understand the page or record you are viewing.
- Documentation assistant - A public docs assistant that answers Qriib product questions with source-backed guidance.
The exact entry points can vary by plan, enabled modules, and administrator configuration.
What Access Controls
Arif does not bypass Qriib permissions. If a user cannot view, create, update, submit, cancel, or delete a record in Qriib, Arif cannot perform that operation for them.
Access also affects:
- Which tools appear in the assistant.
- Which business records can be searched or changed.
- Whether sensitive operations require approval.
- Whether organization knowledge is available as grounding context.
- Whether voice, web search, Plugin Hub, or external connectors are enabled.
User Expectations
When Arif is available, users can:
- Start or resume chat sessions.
- Ask questions about their permitted business data.
- Attach supported files for analysis or import assistance.
- Use voice input when enabled.
- Review approval cards before changes are made.
- Undo supported changes through rollback.
Administrators control availability, provider configuration, connector access, safety policy, and billing or quota settings outside the public documentation experience.
