Business Data and Memory
Arif works with business data through Qriib's governed record model. It does not create a separate permission system or bypass the permissions already configured for users.
What Arif Can Use
Depending on configuration and permissions, Arif can use:
- Current chat session context.
- The page or record a user is viewing.
- Permitted business records and reports.
- Approved organization knowledge.
- Attached files.
- Prior tool results in the same session.
- Safety rules and approval decisions.
Knowledge Grounding
Arif can retrieve relevant knowledge such as policies, setup examples, business rules, and previously proven workflows. Retrieved knowledge is used as supporting context; it does not override user instructions, Qriib permissions, or safety policy.
Audit and Undo
When Arif changes business data, it records the affected action so the chat can show what happened and support rollback where the change is reversible. Some side effects, such as external messages already sent, may not be fully reversible.
Data Boundaries
Arif should only use data the user is allowed to access. Connectors and knowledge sources can add useful context, but they must be enabled and reviewed by the organization before they become available in chat.
