Connector Configuration

Arif connectors are configured by administrators. Public users only see the resulting capabilities that are enabled for their account.

What Administrators Control

Administrators can review and enable:

• Native Qriib capabilities.
• Plugin Hub connectors.
• MCP servers.
• Read-only or side-effect permissions.
• Connector credentials.
• Allowed projects, channels, folders, or resources.
• Whether a connector is available to Arif chat.

User-Visible Effects

Once a connector is approved and enabled, users may be able to ask Arif to:

• Search approved external context.
• Draft or send approved communications.
• Read project or issue context.
• Work with files, reports, or dashboards.
• Use specialized organization tools.

Safety Defaults

Connectors should start with the narrowest useful access. Read-only access is preferred for context sources. Actions that send messages or change external systems should stay behind approval unless the organization has explicitly reviewed the workflow.
